Job Title: Aviation Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

This is a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of airport vehicles and ground support equipment, requiring a high level of technical expertise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairing defects, and conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues.

To excel in this position, you should possess strong knowledge of various systems, including diesel, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

A Class 5 driving license and experience with industrial equipment maintenance tradesman would be highly beneficial. Furthermore, proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems and modern maintenance workbays with test equipment is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of ground support equipment, including airport vehicles.
  • Performance of routine tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Identification and rectification of defects through thorough inspections and troubleshooting.
  • Operation and maintenance of equipment, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Class 5 driving license.
  • Strong knowledge of systems, including diesel, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems and modern maintenance workbays with test equipment.
