Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outsourcing Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team at OCBC Bank. As a key member of our Group Technology Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our IT operations in the data centre.

As an Outsourcing Risk and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing outsourcing risk and compliance in the data centre domain. You will contribute to strategic initiatives and support management in driving department transformation, be part of the transformation team to change the way we work in data centre and its operations, plan and manage company's overall outsourcing requirements for archival and bulk printing of reports and statements, perform constant reviews to understand and align company's operational needs with the requirements in managing customer's requirement on report and statement printing, build strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to leverage better customer service, cost efficiency and quality in the delivery, manage yearly budgets depending on sourcing and maintenance needs by negotiating price and controlling costs, analyze and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy, manage outsourcing documentations for financial and compliance submissions, and be well-informed of industry and market trends and best practices in the archival and outsourced printing areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and support management in driving department transformation

  • Manage yearly budgets depending on sourcing and maintenance needs by negotiating price and controlling costs
  • Analyze and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy
  • Manage outsourcing documentations for financial and compliance submissions
  • Be well-informed of industry and market trends and best practices in the archival and outsourced printing areas

Requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar relevant field
  • Relevant working experience as an Outsourcing Manager or an Operations Manager or similar field
  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Hands on experience with outsourcing, financial and compliance documentation preparations and submissions
  • Experience in SQL and R/ Python (Or other tools for statistical analysis) and data visualization tools for statistical reporting is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and methodologies
  • Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces and enhancing user experience
  • Ability to translate complex information into intuitive and visually appealing infographics

Working Experience/Skills:

  • Proven experience in driving automation and process improvement using Python
  • Hands-on experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, or Django
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage issues that surface over the course of work quickly and efficiently
  • Be a team player with excellent consultative and communication skills, proven ability to work effectively with internal and external IT/non-IT stakeholders, vendors, and consultants
  • Good time-management skills to manage SLAs and SLIs with vendors
  • Knowledge and working experience with an understanding in data centre key operation functions, including enterprise reporting, enterprise scheduling, data centre operations, enterprise backup, and data centre facilities management, would be a plus
