Key DevOps Release Role

This pivotal role encompasses the planning, execution, and maintenance of software releases. As a DevOps Release Engineer, you will play a critical part in ensuring seamless deployments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Configure and onboard CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Set up and manage Build, SIT, UAT, and Artifactory environments to streamline development lifecycles.
  • Verify deployable artifacts for quality and security compliance.
  • Utilize Shell commands to write scripts automating tasks and enhancing efficiency.
  • Monitor and verify Deployment objects in target servers for successful deployment.
  • Implement Agile methodologies to drive collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Initiate Change Requests for infrastructure changes, including Network Firewall, LVM, SSH, Connect Direct, and backups.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the BFSI domain.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial services policies, procedures, products, and industry practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders across multiple business units.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-focused projects.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with version control management, branching strategies, and build tools.
  • Familiarity with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of release management processes and activities, as well as UNIX/LINUX and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with release tools like Aldon LME is beneficial.
