Job Title: Retail Product Promoter

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Merchandiser to fulfill this key role. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for visiting supermarkets and minimart outlets in an assigned area to provide excellent service and enhance customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have at least a GCE 'N' / 'O' Level or SPM qualification and 1-2 years of merchandising experience in modern and general trade. Knowledge of merchandising is an added advantage. Possessing your own vehicle and being physically fit to carry heavy loads are also desirable traits.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all company products, especially core SKUs, are well merchandised with adequate stock levels at shelves and warehouses.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external and internal staff on product ordering and ensure prompt setup of promotional displays, update point-of-sale materials, and pricing displays at the right place and time.
  • Implement first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory management to ensure product freshness and minimize trade returns.
  • Check expired or expiring stock, product defects, and quality issues, and provide regular feedback on sales performance, store display issues, and competitor activities to sales representatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a GCE 'N' / 'O' Level or SPM qualification.
  • At least 1-2 years of merchandising experience in modern and general trade.
  • Possessing knowledge of merchandising is an added advantage.
  • Able to possess your own vehicle and being physically fit to carry heavy loads.
