Early Childhood Educator - Infant Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to fill the role of an Infant Care Specialist. In this capacity, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to infants aged 0-12 months.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver attentive and responsive care to infants, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
    • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, language development, motor skills, and social interaction.
    • Monitor and assess each infant's needs, interests, and developmental milestones, adapting activities to support their growth.
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment; manage diaper changes, feeding, and nap times in a caring manner.
    • Establish strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
    • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Possess one of the following qualifications:
    • Certificate in Infants and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) + Early Years Development Framework (EYDF)
    • WSQ Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC)
    • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
  • Minimum years of experience: 1 year and above
