This is a senior engineering role within a manufacturing organization. The Sales and Marketing Engineer will be responsible for promoting the company's capabilities to aircraft manufacturers, operators, and maintenance organizations across the Asia-Pacific region.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of avionics systems and be able to recommend optimal solutions to customers. They will work closely with an experienced engineering team to develop tailored solutions and prepare technical proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
A key aspect of this role is managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This involves monitoring industry trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities and supporting project planning to ensure smooth communication between the sales and engineering departments.
To succeed in this position, candidates will require a minimum diploma in Avionics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. They must also have a minimum of two years' experience in a related field, with prior experience in avionics systems design, engineering, or a similar technical background.
Demonstrated marketing and/or sales experience within the aviation or aerospace industry is essential, as is a strong understanding of regulatory environments such as FAA, EASA, or military design standards. Experience in managing engineering design projects and coordinating with technical teams is highly desirable.
