Research Quality Manager Job Description

The Research Quality Manager will assist the Director of Research to establish and promote a safe and high-quality research culture in our hospital. This role involves conducting audits, overseeing quality management of research projects, and organizing regular sharing sessions or training workshops for the research community.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits of research projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of quality management systems for research projects.
  • Organize and conduct regular sharing sessions or training workshops for the research community to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Assist in various kinds of external audit and inspection, if any.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Nursing, Life Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years' site coordinator experience or minimum 6 years' clinical research/pharmacovigilance monitoring/audit experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of trial procedures and regulatory requirements in managing clinical trials.
  • Possess good people's management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills e.g., MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Good presentation, training and teaching skills.
  • Good time management skills with good multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Candidate with CITI, ICH-GCP, professional accreditation by ACRP or SOCRA will be an added advantage.
