Job Title: Secure Data Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust data security strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Optimize Data Security Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data security frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation plans to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards, such as ISO 27001, by establishing and maintaining effective compliance programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT, business leaders, and external partners, to communicate data security strategies and promote awareness.

Requirements:

  • Expertise: A minimum of three years of experience in data security, with a deep understanding of information security principles, operating systems, and database security.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and TiDB, as well as knowledge of common attack and defense techniques.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal departments and external regulatory bodies.
