Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Description:

The Role of a Process Engineer is pivotal in driving operational excellence and quality assurance within the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) department.

Key Responsibilities include developing and maintaining efficient SMT assembly processes, analyzing process capability, improving first pass yield and overall equipment effectiveness, as well as optimizing reflow oven thermal profiles for lead-free soldering.

In this role, you will be expected to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process defects, support New Product Introductions by establishing process flows and documentation, and perform DFM/DFT reviews with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
  • 4–6+ years' experience in SMT or PCBA manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SMT machines and familiarity with ISO 13485 standards.

Requirements also include a well-rounded understanding of standard operating procedures, work instructions and training materials, ensuring compliance with IPC-A-610 and other industry standards.
