Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive product visibility and adoption in the turf and landscape industry.

This role is critical in bridging product education, customer engagement, and marketing execution. The successful candidate will conduct live product demonstrations, assist with technical field support, and collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to shape messaging and gather market insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Demonstration & Technical Education
  • Conduct live demonstrations of products such as turf nutrition, pest management solutions, robotic mowers, and battery-operated tools.
  • Train landscape professionals, golf course superintendents, and municipalities on correct product use and benefits.
  • Support on-site trials and data collection to showcase performance outcomes.
Marketing Support
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials tailored to the green industry (e.g., product brochures, case studies, social media content).
  • Contribute to campaigns, exhibitions, and seminars to increase market awareness.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to tailor messaging and tools for various customer segments.
Product Knowledge & Scientific Understanding
  • Develop an understanding of the science behind turf health, plant nutrition, pest and weed management, and sustainability practices.
  • Translate technical product knowledge into customer-friendly communication.
  • Stay updated on market trends and innovations within the turf and landscape industry.
Customer Engagement & Market Insight
  • Gather feedback during product demos and customer visits to improve product positioning and service offerings.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide input to the product and marketing teams.
  • Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong passion for learning and applying scientific principles in a practical setting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to conduct field demonstrations and hands-on product usage
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong interest in sustainability, turf care, and landscape solutions
  • A valid Class 3 driving license is required (for local travel and demos)
Preferred Background
  • Experience in technical sales, customer service, or landscaping
  • Interest or education in agriculture, horticulture, environmental science, or related fields
  • Familiarity with turfgrass maintenance, irrigation, or pest/disease management is a plus
