We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Professional to join our team at Cornerstone Global Partners. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across the entire organization. This includes internal processes, external factors, industry regulations, and activities related to Business Continuity Management (BCM), Environmental Risk Management (EnRM), Technology Risk Management (TRM), and Operational Risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management plan that outlines strategies to mitigate or minimize the impact of identified risks.
- Working collaboratively with various departments to implement risk mitigation controls, such as establishing safety protocols, purchasing insurance, or diversifying investments.
- Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential threats to business continuity, including those related to outsourcing, technology dependencies, and operational disruptions.
- Developing and testing business continuity plans to ensure effective response and recovery in the event of a disruption.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating environmental risks associated with the organization's operations, including those related to outsourced activities and third-party vendors.
- Staying up-to-date on environmental regulations and ensuring the organization adheres to best practices.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology-related risks, including cyber security threats, data breaches, system outages, and technology disruptions.
- Developing and implementing controls to safeguard the organization's technology infrastructure and data security.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels about potential risks, mitigation strategies, and BCM/EnRM/TRM/Operational Risk initiatives.
- Preparing regular reports documenting the risk management process, its effectiveness, and program performance across all focus areas.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Technology (IT), or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies across various risk domains.
- Experience with BCM, EnRM, TRM, and Operational Risk Management principles is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
