Job Title: UPS System Manager.

The role of the UPS System Manager is to oversee the operations, maintenance, and performance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems across various facilities or client sites. This position involves managing a team of engineers or technicians to ensure system reliability, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and responding to power-related emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Department Manager for the fulfilment of maintenance contract requirements of DC Charger/Zonal/UPS systems.
• Maintaining good relationships with related vendors and customers for the maintenance contract of DC Charger/Zonal/UPS systems.
• Managing a team of field engineers to ensure smooth operations.
• Planning and optimising resources to carry out preventive maintenance of UPS systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Planning and optimising resources to execute corrective maintenance when necessary to resolve system faults or alarms.
• Performing additional tasks as needed to maintain the operational integrity of the UPS systems.
• Providing technical and engineering support for DC Charger/Zonal/UPS systems.
• Possessing sound knowledge of safety requirements of power system maintenance for DC Charger/Zonal/UPS systems.
• Being on standby 24/7 for any activation or system issues.
• Able to respond to short notice and work irregular hours to meet ad-hoc job assignments.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in handling DC Charger/Zonal/UPS systems.
• Bachelor in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.
• Sound network and good technical knowledge in the Power System industry.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri: 8am - 5.30pm

Location: Tuas and various mainland/Island sites assigned (Shuttle service provided from Joo Koon MRT station).
