This is an exciting opportunity to join our wealth planning team as a tax and wealth planning associate. The role involves advising high net worth individuals and their families on US and international tax, trust and estate planning issues, as well as US expatriation and immigration issues and IRS Voluntary Disclosure programs.
\Key Responsibilities include:
\- Advising high net worth individuals and their families on US and international tax, trust and estate planning issues;
- Assisting with structuring investments into businesses and real estate as well as into funds;
- Working with US and international trusts and foundations, private trust companies, holding companies and family offices;
- Providing advice on FATCA and CRS reporting issues.
The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of relevant experience, be admitted to practice law in the US, and have a strong commercial awareness, financial aptitude and integrity to handle highly confidential information appropriately.
\Our clients are international families with family members who are living across the world and have US connections. We advise them on all aspects of wealth structuring, using domestic and international trusts and foundations.
\We are looking for a self-motivated and goal focussed individual who can stay calm under pressure, is organised, conscientious and detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills and high levels of interpersonal skills.
