Job Title: Middleware Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to join our team. As a Middleware Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and stability of our technical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middleware technologies, including Websphere, Jboss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Apache, Kafka. They will also have experience with container platforms such as Docker/Kubernetes, operating systems like Linux, Unix, and Windows, and monitoring and data analytics tools such as Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and logical skills, as well as the ability to work on shift and with on-call support on rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global production service operations support in middleware technologies and platforms.
  • Accountable for the overall service reliability, availability, and stability of the technical scopes.
  • Provide technical expert support for managed workloads, including analyzing and resolving incidents, problems, service requests, and change process management.
  • Partner with development, project, and business teams to understand requirements and technical specifications to participate in project deliverables activities.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvements for the production environment through automation or manual work and performance hygiene.
  • Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience.
  • Mastery of middleware technologies, including Websphere, Jboss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Apache, Kafka.
  • Experience with container platforms such as Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management framework.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and logical skills.
