Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Business HR Partner to join our team at the Central Provident Fund Board. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a pivotal role in empowering over 4 million members to secure their retirement, healthcare, and housing needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with IT business stakeholders to align HR strategies with business objectives, driving organisational success. Your ability to think critically and analyse complex issues will be essential in reviewing initiatives, processes, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have relevant HR experience in a large organisation, preferably with a post-graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or IHRP certification. Strong business acumen, resourcefulness, and resilience will be vital in adapting to changing situations and navigating complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT business stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that support achieving organisational goals
  • Support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, providing professional advice on HR policies, initiatives, and processes
  • Establish strong partnerships and engagement with the core management team to drive HR strategies that improve work relationships and build morale
  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual business and HR strategic plan, contributing to functional and cross-functional initiatives
  • Apply frameworks, tools, and techniques to diagnose issues and co-develop solutions that ensure buy-in from senior leaders and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Relevant HR experience in a large organisation, preferably with a post-graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or IHRP certification
  • Proven ability in partnering with IT business stakeholders to align HR strategies with business objectives
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and data analytical experience
  • Resourceful and resilient, able to adapt to changing situations and navigate through complexity and ambiguity effectively
  • Ability to work independently, while also working effectively as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives
