Factual Storyteller and Content Creator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled factual storyteller and content creator to join our team. As a producer of micro-documentaries, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and editing engaging short-form documentaries.

Your primary focus will be on producing original stories and series, as well as behind-the-scenes access and explainers that break down complex issues. You will work closely with our talented team of producers to develop and execute compelling content.

You will have the opportunity to ideate, pitch, research, write, film, script, edit, and analyze audience data. Your goal will be to contribute to engagement efforts across different digital platforms.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in any discipline
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Able to identify what makes a good story and how to tell it in an engaging way
  • Strong visual sense with basic technical competency in filming and video editing
  • Interest in current affairs and ability to distill complex issues clearly
  • Ability to host in front of the camera is a plus
  • Work experience in a content creation role is ideal
  • Must work well in a team and under pressure of tight turnaround times
