We're looking for an Innovative Electronics Hardware Engineer who will:

  • Innovate and create value for next-generation advanced complex systems
  • Develop and design electronics architecture, circuits and systems for meeting future product specifications
  • Browse out-of-the-box solutions to create value to business and customers
  • Conduct system analysis to achieve optimized design solution to meet design specification, project schedule and cost target
  • Ensure designs meet all regulatory requirements
  • Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions to customers
  • Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance to specifications
  • Author specifications, requirements and validation plans for design modules assigned
  • Work with the manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment

This role offers opportunities in one or more of the following areas:

  • Embedded micro-processor system design
  • IO standards and protocols such as USB, IR, LAN, Bluetooth, etc
  • Analog sensing technologies, signal conditioning, etc

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in electronics engineering principles and experience in embedded micro-processor system design, power management electronics and small-signal analog design. Knowledge of PC architecture, high-speed IO bus protocols (such as DDR, FSB, PCI-X), signal integrity techniques and high-speed hardware design is also essential. A good understanding of product safety, environmental testing and EMC is advantageous. Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals and principles is required. The ability to work in a team and passion for product design is crucial.

This role requires a Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and relevant industry experience. Experience in medical product compliance standards such as ISO13485 is an added advantage. Simulation tools and programming skills (e.g., PSpice, Python) are also beneficial. Overseas travel may be required.
