Electrical Design Specialist

As an Electrical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems in process plants and water/wastewater treatment facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design single-line diagrams, electrical distribution systems, and other related infrastructure.
  • Determine cable sizing and design routing for sub-main cabling and conduit/trunking wiring.
  • Supervise the selection of cables, circuit breakers, transformers, UPS, VFDs, and generators.
  • Oversee electrical installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Prepare project documents, including technical proposals, load lists, cable schedules, and switch-room layouts.
  • Perform fault and short-circuit studies, as well as harmonic analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in process plants or water/wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks software.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of electrical design principles and practices.
  • Experience with water and/or wastewater treatment plant design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
