Job Title: Systems Engineer (Governance/Cyber Security)

This is a 24-month government contract opportunity to work as a systems engineer in the governance and cyber security domain.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in IT operations, support, project management, or governance and compliance.

The primary responsibilities include advising application teams on preparing for compliance verification and audit readiness, performing routine compliance assessments, drafting and maintaining documentation and protocols, managing and leading the onboarding process, collaborating with engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities, and building and updating management dashboards using data analytics tools.

  • Key qualifications include strong communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, a solid understanding of government IT security policies and procedures, and proactive behavior in streamlining processes and applying audit feedback.
  • Preferred candidate profile includes strong account management and compliance skills, technical proficiency in managing and understanding account setups and interfaces across Windows Active Directory Domain, RHEL Linux, PIM and PAM, Cloud AD, and AWS IAM integration.
