Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Payments Analyst to join our team. As a Payments Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of payments projects using Agile methodology. Your primary responsibility will be to liaise with business teams, colleagues, third-party vendors, and partner systems to formulate detailed requirements.

This involves interpreting user requirements and producing detailed documentation, including processes, to communicate to technical and test teams. You will also be responsible for producing high-level and detailed impact assessments to inform estimated effort for work packages. Additionally, you will write, analyze, and review high-level test scenarios and participate in the analysis and investigation of production defects and testing issues raised during the project life cycle.

As a Payments Analyst, you will be required to walk through the detailed requirements and technical design with the Business Operations team to showcase the solution. You will also be expected to encourage best practices in the development of solutions and ensure the delivery of qualitative and cost-efficient system solutions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for carrying out knowledge sharing and training activities where required.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in the payments industry, having worked in Tier-1 IT organizations in the BFSI domain for large payments modernization/SEPA compliance, real-time payments, payments hub implementation projects.
  • Strong experience on ISO 20022 (PAIN, PACS, CAMT, ADMI), SWIFT formats.
  • PAYMENTS SCHEMES - Singapore, Hongkong, India, ASEAN region.
  • Products - ACI MTS (Money Transfer Systems) and UPF (Universal Payments Framework).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead domain discussions independently.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors and gain consensus and agreement.
