About the Role:
Data Engineer - Streaming PipelinesWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data streaming pipelines that meet our business needs. This involves working with a variety of tools and technologies, including Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Azure Event Hub.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience working with streaming technologies, data lakes, and lakehouses, as well as knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement data streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Azure Event Hub
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and provide clean, reliable datasets
- Implement data governance and security best practices within the data platform
- Evaluate and adopt new data technologies and tools to enhance the data platform's capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering
- Strong knowledge of data streaming technologies, data lakes, and lakehouses
