Job Overview

The Earth Observatory of Singapore at Nanyang Technological University seeks a highly skilled Research Fellow to contribute to interdisciplinary research in understanding tectonics, volcanoes, and their linkages. As part of the 'Integrating Volcano and Earthquake Science and Technology (InVEST) in Southeast Asia' project, you will work under the supervision of Prof Emma Hill and collaborate with researchers from various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Numerical modeling of tectonic and volcanic processes for a holistic understanding of geohazards around Southeast Asia.
  • Exploration of large databases to study earthquake and volcano processes in the region.
  • Investigation of interdisciplinary linkages across tectonics, volcanoes, and societal risk.
