We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience managing technical projects from inception to completion.

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and a passion for technology. You will provide support and assistance to Lead IT Project Manager in managing overall project delivery, including project management processes such as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing project.

  • You will assist the Lead IT Project Manager in managing and tracking project fundamentals such as budget, scope, schedule, deliverables, quality, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, constraints, and project change management process.
  • You will support the Lead IT Project Manager in gathering inputs on regular basis for reporting project progress and project financial updates, as well as ensuring relevant project information is kept up-to-date.
  • You will assist the Lead IT Project Manager in contract and vendor management, procurement management, and financial management.
  • You will help the Lead IT Project Manager in organizing key project activities and events, such as project launches, project meetings, project workshops, and project training sessions.
  • You will assist the Lead IT Project Manager in preparing relevant project artefacts/documents to comply with Group IT Project Delivery Methodology, Group IT Governance, and other relevant Group-wide organization processes, policies, standards, and frameworks.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as part of delivering project goals, including supporting the Lead IT Project Manager in resolving project issues, addressing project risk mitigations/contingencies, and settling project disputes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to automate and document internal processes for more streamlined ways of managing projects. You will also work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that drive business value.
