Project Development Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and metal fabrication, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting production drawings and documents, implementing best practices to improve productivity and quality, and managing project teams to achieve project objectives.

In addition, the Project Development Specialist will be expected to handle day-to-day issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise, estimate costs for quotation preparation, and coordinate with management, customers, contractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation and analysis of production drawings and documents
  • Implementation of best practices to improve productivity and quality
  • Management of project teams to achieve project objectives
  • Day-to-day issue handling and troubleshooting
  • Cost estimation for quotation preparation
  • Coordination with management, customers, contractors, and suppliers
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a diploma or degree in mechanical manufacturing engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and machine shop activities.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a self-motivated and result-driven mindset.
