Job Description:

Hao Hong Construction PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Officer.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, risk management principles, and environmental health practices. They will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees, contractors, and visitors on-site, while also maintaining a clean and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce WSH policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement control measures;
  • Develop and maintain effective incident reporting and investigation processes;
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on WSH best practices and emergency procedures;
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement HSE plans and strategies;
  • Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics to identify areas for improvement;
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, incidents, and reports;
  • Brief project managers and senior stakeholders on HSE performance and recommendations for improvement;
  • Promote a positive safety culture within the organization through leadership by example and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the construction industry;
  • Proven track record of implementing effective HSE programs and achieving significant improvements in HSE performance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, including ISO 45001 and OSHA standards;
  • Familiarity with HSE software and systems, including incident reporting and tracking tools.

Salary:$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
