Job Title: Senior Purchasing Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Purchasing Executive to join our team at Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a group of junior purchasers and planning and executing direct material purchases to ensure timely delivery and meet supply and inventory targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of junior purchasers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvement projects and implement process changes.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and independent.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP.
