Language Instructor Position

We are seeking an experienced Japanese language instructor to teach face-to-face lessons on a regular semester calendar.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for language teaching and the ability to sustain consistent weekly lessons over extended periods.

  • Deliver engaging face-to-face Japanese language instruction in accordance with the academic calendar.
  • Develop lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to learner levels and course objectives.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with academic coordinators to align teaching outcomes with program standards.
  • Maintain a professional and positive learning environment in all sessions.
Key Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum 3 years of Japanese language teaching experience.
  • A valid teaching certificate in Japanese (e.g., Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, JLTC, or equivalent).
  • Additional relevant academic qualifications (e.g., degree/diploma in Japanese Studies, Education, or Applied Linguistics) are a plus.
  • Ability to commit fully to the semester calendar.
  • Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
  • Must be able to teach on-site at campus on Fridays.
Responsibilities

Working Conditions: This is a contract position that requires the ability to work on-site at campus on Fridays.
