Job Description:
Are you a skilled marine engineer looking for a challenging role? We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting marine electrical and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and at company premises/workshops.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with marine boilers and related systems, as well as strong technical knowledge in marine electrical and mechanical systems. You will also need to possess valid travel documents and certifications for international travel.

As a Service Engineer, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions. You will also be responsible for communicating sales opportunities to Service Managers and providing onsite and remote technical support to clients.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Commissioning, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of marine electrical and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and at company premises/workshops (e.g., Burners, Boilers, Scrubbers, EGE, EBG, GCU).
  • Travel on short notice to vessels within the region and occasionally worldwide.
  • Ensure valid travel documentation (passport, visas, seaman book, vaccinations) is maintained.
  • Adhere to company and customer QHSE procedures; report unsafe practices or incidents.
  • Complete and submit Service Certificates (time sheets) and obtain customer sign-off.
  • Prepare detailed Service Reports, including safety observations, spare part recommendations, and future service suggestions.
  • Proactively recommend spare parts and service solutions to customers.
  • Communicate sales opportunities to Service Managers.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with marine boilers and related systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge in marine electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Valid travel documents and certifications for international travel.
