Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Deckhand to join our team at Royal Ocean Marine.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a steady course, properly execute all rudder orders, and communicate effectively using navigational terms relating to heading and steering.
  • Stand security-related watches, such as a gangway watch or anchor watch while the ship is not underway.
  • Perform general maintenance, repair, sanitation, and upkeep of material, equipment, and areas in the deck department.
  • Clean, maintain, and repair the hull, decks, superstructure, cargo gear, and smoke stack.
  • Operate deck machinery, such as the windlass or winches while mooring or unmooring, and to operate cargo gear.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals with experience in shipping or harbor craft operations in Singapore. Candidates must be willing to stay onboard for extended periods.

Benefits

A competitive estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
