Facilities Maintenance Officer Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Officer is a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises. This position requires an individual who can maintain high standards of hygiene, manage junior staff, and conduct daily inspections to evaluate work performance.

  • Uphold a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the customer premises.
  • Manage the execution and performance of junior staff, delivering adequate training and guidance to meet contractual standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections to monitor and evaluate the work of the staff, taking immediate corrective measures to improve any substandard performance.
  • Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas and fill in for staff when required.

This role also involves:

Key Cleaning Duties:
  • Maintaining floor cleanliness through regular mopping.
  • Keeping carpets clean by vacuuming regularly.
  • Ensuring office furniture and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
  • Cleaning desks, phones, windows, and glass partitions.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
