Job Title: Construction BIM Team Lead Specialist

Solid M&Z PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled BIM Authoring Lead to lead our construction team in delivering high-quality models and drawings.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills to manage our BIM Modelling Team, Consultants, and Contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating between these teams, troubleshooting BIM software/tool problems, providing training to Engineers/Designers, performing clash checks, and ensuring deliverables of high-quality and consistent models and drawings.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate between BIM Modelling Team, Consultants & Contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot any BIM software/tool problems from BIM Modelling Team to minimize downtime.
  • Provide simple trainings to Engineers/Designers on operating of BIM software/tools to enhance their skills.
  • Perform clash checks and host the clash review meeting with relevant parties to identify and resolve conflicts.
  • FOLLOW SPECIFICATIONS, STANDARDS, WORKFLOWS, SETTINGS AND BEST PRACTICES TO ENSURE DELIVERABLES OF HIGH-QUALITY AND CONSISTENT MODELS AND DRAWINGS ACROSS THE PROJECT.
  • Participate in regular BIM coordination review process throughout the duration of the project to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer to maintain project integrity.
  • Ensure all productions are completed on schedule or in a timely manner to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Min Diploma in Engineering with relevant working experience in Construction industry.
  • MUST BE PROFICIENT AND HAVE ABOUT 5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH THE BIM AUTHORING TOOLS.
  • Good knowledge of Bentley/Autodesk BIM software and MS Office to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Able to read and interpret Mechanical & Electrical drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members.
  • Experience in adoption of BIM processes in large construction projects will be an advantage.

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $120,000 per annum based on the location and industry standards.
