At Careers@Gov, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assistant Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Rail Communications team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our rail communications projects.

About the Role

As a Senior Assistant Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising the project implementation of Rail Communications System contracts for MRT projects. You will work closely with our engineering and management teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will conduct regular site inspections to ensure that safety, progress, and quality of the work comply with the contract and regulatory requirements. You will also develop a good understanding of site supervision on safety and quality aspects, and be able to review Method Statements submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with the contract and LTA specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the project implementation of Rail Communications System contracts for MRT projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, progress, and quality of the work
  • Develop a good understanding of site supervision on safety and quality aspects
  • Review Method Statements submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with the contract and LTA specifications
  • Work closely with engineering and management teams to ensure project delivery
Requirements
  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical works
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Team player who is analytical, resourceful, and result-oriented
  • Able to perform night works and overtime, including weekends and public holidays
