Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

* Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
* Developing and continuously improving financial reporting procedures
* Managing the management accounting team
* Ensuring clean balance sheet reconciliations

You will work closely with the divisional Finance Directors and Finance Business Partners to ensure accounting integrity in all management accounting activities. Your role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including the Group Finance Director, Financial Controller, and their teams, as well as Group Executives and Hachette Livre.

The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant with 5-10 years of accountancy experience, having worked within a complex systems environment (ideally Media/Publishing sector). They will have excellent spreadsheet modelling skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to analyse and evaluate commercial financial data.
