Job Title: Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Fellow to join our team at the Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of population health and informing evidence-based policies and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality research in population health and implementation science, with a focus on developing and evaluating innovative solutions to improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement research studies, including developing grant proposals and study plans.
  • Supervise junior research staff and provide technical guidance on data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Assist with the preparation of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and reports for publication and presentation.
  • Oversee the execution of research studies, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Social Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in population health research, with a strong track record of publication and presentation.
  • Expertise in implementation science and experience with advanced data analytics software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, SAS) or qualitative analysis software (e.g. Nvivo).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise junior research staff.
