Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer II to join our team at BIOTRONIK APM II PTE. LTD. in a dynamic environment of digitalization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for production operations to meet output and quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement high-quality program changes, adhering to IT development standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward and ensure timely and efficient solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to prevent disruptions to operations.
  • Design and develop machine interfaces architecture with external vendors.
  • Develop middleware as equipment interfaces through programming languages (Java, C#).
  • Analyze data and issues to inform decisions about software system improvement.
  • Communicate project statuses and proposals to clients and cross-functional departments.
  • Document and execute computer systems validation to ensure compliance and system integrity.
Technical Competencies
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process/Machine Capability Studies (Cp, Cpk/Pp, Ppk).
  • Lean Manufacturing principles, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and 5S methodologies.
  • Continuous Improvement Project Management, including Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis tools.
  • Software skills, including server configuration, clustering, deployment, and security strategies.
  • Programming languages, including OPC-UA, Oracle, Java, C#, SQL, and PLC.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Software Engineering/Computer Science or programming-centric field of study.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry (degree holders) or 8 years (diploma holders).
  • Prior experience in medical devices industry is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of machine to MES interface technologies and software programming.
  • Experience with ZNT PAC Platform and SSL/TLS/HTTPS, Oracle & SQL.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of machine software (PLC) and familiarity with ISO13485 and GMP.
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing and assembly processes.
