Senior Corporate Credit Manager - Private Banking

This is a critical role that will support the front office by providing timely, high-quality credit approvals for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across a broad range of lending solutions. Key responsibilities include reviewing, assessing, and approving credit proposals, including standard lending such as Lombard loans, mortgages, and insurance premium financing, as well as more complex bespoke credit structures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private banking or wealth management credit, with at least 15 years of experience in credit analysis or approval. They should be confident in their ability to exercise sound judgment, manage stakeholder expectations, and strike the right balance between commerciality and risk. Experience in structuring complex transactions, understanding of collateral types (including marketable securities, private assets, and real estate), and familiarity with regulatory guidelines would be highly advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in private banking or wealth management credit
  • At least 15 years of experience in credit analysis or approval
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage stakeholder expectations
