Job Title: Cytopathology Specialist

PATHOLOGY AND CLINICAL LABORATORY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Cytopathology Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze cytological specimens to detect cancer and other pathological conditions.
  • Perform complex testing and microscopic screening of gynaecological and non-gynaecological specimens.
  • Classify cells according to established categories and determine whether cells are abnormal.
  • Accurately record specimen and results data.
  • Ensure individual specimen turnaround times meet laboratory expectations.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through seminars and workshops.
  • Adhere to laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and accreditation requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, or relevant qualifications.
  • 5-6 years' relevant experience, preferably as a Certified cytotechnologist.
  • Able to work under time pressure with accuracy and meet turnaround-time requirements.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
  • Saturday: 8.30 am to 1.00 pm.
  • Working hours may change due to operational requirements.
