About the Role

The ASP Influence and Strategy Manager will be a crucial part of the Ogilvy StudioX Social team, working alongside the Social, Creative, Intelligence, Strategy, Ops, and Community team. We're looking for someone with a vast experience in influencer and social media marketing, covering the full spectrum of integrated influencer work, from celebrities all the way to micro influencers.

This role is responsible for leading the development of influencer marketing strategies and campaigns across the ASEAN & South Pacific (ASP) markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cultural nuances of marketing in these regions and experience in activating campaigns in some of these markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and campaigns that drive business results for clients.
  • Lead the creation of influencer toolkits, including objectives, strategy, targets, engagement, and content ideas.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class campaigns for clients.
  • Support new business opportunities across the agency and build and maintain successful client relationships.
  • Present creative ideas and content solutions to clients and lead client calls to manage project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with cultural and social trends and customer views and attitudes.
  • Contribute to the development of the Ogilvy influencer offering across both the Ogilvy and WPP business internally.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in an agency setting with a focus on influencer marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the cultural nuances of marketing in ASEAN and South Pacific markets.
  • Digitally fluent with an understanding of the complex media landscape and ability to drive results for clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to connect business challenges with impactful ideas.
  • Innovative approach to influencer marketing with a focus on driving business results.
  • Logical commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets effectively.
  • Active user of social platforms with a finger on the pulse of the latest trends and happenings.
  • Great communication skills with oral presentations.
  • Proven experience integrating digital and social media in campaign activity.
  • Proven confidence negotiating with and influencing peers and senior clients.
  • Good team player with the ability to work effectively among an integrated agency team.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines.
