Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned quantum algorithms developer lead to spearhead the development of innovative software tools for quantum computing. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will drive the creation and implementation of cutting-edge algorithms that push the boundaries of this emerging field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of developers in designing and implementing sophisticated quantum algorithms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with our products and services.
  • Mentor junior developers to foster growth and improve technical skills within the company.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation of your work, including reports, research papers, and technical guides.
  • Stay abreast of the latest scientific and technical advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • A PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
  • No less than 8 years of post-doctoral work experience.
  • Prior experience in managing teams of scientists.
  • Strong leadership ability to drive project success.
  • Expertise in quantum algorithms and complexity theory.
  • Experience in implementing quantum algorithms in code.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from inception to commercial release.
  • Proficiency in programming languages C, C++, and Python, with knowledge of Matlab.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on commercial software development projects.
  • Collaborative experience with experimental teams.
