The Role of Senior Leadership

At our boutique investment banking advisory firm, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President to lead a team of professionals in executing transactions. As the Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for leading by example and guiding your team to deliver exceptional results.

About the Role
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and timely updates on deal progress.
  • Oversee operational aspects of prospective deals, including managing multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement financial models using advanced tools and spreadsheets, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
  • Supervise junior team members, providing guidance and support in analytical deal documentation creation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent industry analysis, financial analysis, and modeling skills. You should have a good understanding of the sectors and industries that our firm focuses on and be proficient in building complex financial models. Strong problem-solving abilities, commercial instinct, and valuation skills are essential. Additionally, you should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills to interact with senior management and all staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Management: Foster client relationships after deal closure and cultivate relationships with the investor community.
  2. Transaction Execution: Manage operational aspects of prospective deals, understand client requirements, guide the junior deal team, oversee client transactions, conduct financial modeling and structuring, and manage operational aspects of a deal or mandate.
  3. Supervision and Guidance in Analytical Deal Documentation Creation: Create financial models, carry out financial analyses, conduct comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and trading multiples, perform client due diligence, and identify contacts for potential clients.
  4. Deal Generation: Research and analyze various companies and industries, build necessary knowledge and data for current and upcoming transactions, participate in forums, conferences, and seminars, establish connections, and provide leads and potential deal connections to the Director.
