Science Laboratory Operations Coordinator

The Science Laboratory Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the setup and management of science laboratories for lessons and science practical examinations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the preparation and setup of science laboratories for lessons and science practical examinations
  • Procuring and preparing materials according to lesson requirements
  • Scheduling the use of laboratories by classes
  • Managing the dissemination of teaching resources to staff
  • Cataloguing all science resources, including lab inventory and teaching materials
  • Assisting teachers to coordinate and manage science-related programs, such as invigilation of science practical examinations and Science Fair
  • Tending to school gardens, particularly plants related to the teaching of science
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the authority

Requirements:

  • Hold GCE 'N' /'O' level qualifications or equivalent
  • Have at least one year working experience in a science laboratory environment, preferably in a school setting
