Job Description

As a seasoned software consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems with microservices architecture. Your expertise in application, infrastructure, and security architecture will be instrumental in driving performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.

You will work closely with technical SMEs to gather requirements and ensure alignment with solutions. Your ability to translate functional requirements into solution designs and ensure technical feasibility will be highly valued.

Key responsibilities include defining implementation patterns, best practices, and standards for microservices, leading initiatives to develop accelerators and tools that improve deliverables quality, and evaluating emerging industry technologies to inform design decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of technical experience in architecture development, backend integration, and application development.
  • Strong hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of SOA, microservices architecture, REST, and SOAP services development.
  • Proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+), Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Experience in designing and coding scalable, enterprise-grade microservices.
  • Banking domain experience is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with middleware/messaging technologies (MQ, JMS, Kafka) and event-driven design patterns.
