Senior SharePoint Developer

About the Role:

The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to software development lifecycle phases, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage user permission levels and configure anonymous access as required.
  • Configure Business Connectivity Services (BCS) to connect SharePoint with external data sources like SQL databases and WCF services.
  • Set up and manage core SharePoint service applications, including Search, Metadata, User Profile Synchronization.
  • Design and implement automated business solutions using SharePoint/Nintex workflows and forms.
  • Develop custom workflows in Nintex for complex business logic.
  • Maintain Content Databases and manage SQL Server logging databases, including performance tuning and compression.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and monitor SharePoint farms/servers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide user training and support, promoting best practices and optimal usage of SharePoint sites.
  • Address production issues promptly to minimize user disruption.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on SharePoint administration and customization.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint setup, configuration, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with Nintex Workflow/Form development and business process automation.
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server administration and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Business Connectivity Services, WCF, and external system integration.
  • Familiarity with IIS, Active Directory, and mail/SFTP configurations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working within Agile or SDLC frameworks.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator or Nintex Certified Professional are highly desirable.
