About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled SQA professional to work with us on developing and implementing effective quality assurance processes, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation. They will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and decomposing complex software systems to design holistic test strategies.
  • Developing test suites of test scenarios and test cases.
  • Taking a risk-based approach for test automation.
  • Performing time-boxed exploratory testing.
  • Maintaining regression test suites in QA nightly builds.
  • Actively refining smoke test suites in development CI environments.
  • Leading system integration testing with other systems.
  • Managing user acceptance testing.
  • Managing defect lifecycles, test artefacts, and repositories.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years' experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including tactfulness.
  • Good presentation and listening skills.
  • Experience in agile development environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Robot Framework, SikuliX, Selenium, Playwright, Micro Focus Testing Tools, EggPlant, or Pega Unit Test is highly desirable.
