BW LNG are seeking a highly motivated Technical Trainee to join their team as part of the Maritime Trainee 2025 program. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in marine technical operations, while working with a world-class technical gas team.

The successful candidate will have a background in marine engineering or a related field, with a strong interest in developing technical solutions. Sailing experience with relevant STCW certificates is an advantage. Excellent English language skills are required, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The trainee period will last for 18 months, during which time you will spend time across various departments, gaining exposure to commercial, financial, legal and technical challenges. There will be opportunities to travel and work on projects around the world, including potentially joining one of our LNG carriers for a sailing period.

As a Technical Trainee, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working together to develop innovative technical solutions and drive efficiency in our operations. You will have the chance to contribute to the exploration of cutting-edge technologies and participate in the execution of ongoing projects.

Upon successful completion of the trainee period, there are potential opportunities for assignments within one of the technical segments in the BW Group, depending on your preference and the organisation's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing technical operations
- Support Technical Superintendents to ensure efficient and effective operation of the fleet
- Engage with our Newbuild department and gain insights into ship ordering process
- Contribute to the exploration of cutting-edge technologies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field
- Strong interest in developing technical solutions
- Sailing experience with relevant STCW certificates (advantage)
- Excellent English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
