Strategic Sales Manager for Key Accounts

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Manager for Key Accounts to join our team at KAIMAY TRADING PTE. LTD. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a proven track record in sales management, negotiation, and relationship building.
About the Role
This position is responsible for achieving key account sales performance, developing effective working relationships with key accounts, and collaborating with buyers to receive updates and facilitate promotional activations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing promotional spending, ensuring it remains within allocated budgets, and informing relevant departments about confirmed promotions. Additionally, this role involves supervising and supporting the Sales Executive, ensuring operational effectiveness of the sales team, and conducting regular meetings with the sales team to share updates on upcoming promotional plans and other relevant matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve key account sales performance in alignment with agreed annual sales budget and targets.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key accounts at HQ level.
- Collaborate with key account buyers to receive updates, facilitate promotional activations, and conduct periodic reviews.
- Manage promotional spending to ensure it remains within allocated budget.
- Inform Customer Service and Accounts Departments about confirmed promotions to ensure proper invoicing and claims alignment with respective channel buyers.
- Supervise and support the Sales Executive in driving operational effectiveness of sales team.
- Ensure Sales Executive communicates updates on promotional activations and display guidelines to sales team during monthly internal sales meetings.
- Conduct monthly meetings with sales team to share updates on upcoming promotional plans and other relevant matters.
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess excellent negotiation, customer relationship, and team collaboration skills, with a strong background in sales management, negotiation, and relationship building. A bachelor's degree in business or related field is required. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
