Quantitative Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on P&L and risk exposure, providing insightful commentaries on key drivers.
  • Prepare and analyze trading performance reports for senior management.
  • Contribute to the development of the trading risk management framework and draft policies and procedures for new and existing businesses.
  • Perform quantitative risk analysis, including VaR, stress testing, and scenario analysis, with insightful commentaries to traders and senior management.
  • Set up and review trading limits using scripting tools.
  • Monitor funding risk and ensure integrity of balance sheet capital funding and usage.
  • Work with trading desks to implement risk controls and address breaches in a timely manner.
  • Requirements:
  • Degree or above in a quantitative discipline, with professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in product control, market risk management, model validation, with hands-on experience.
  • Broad understanding of financial products, with knowledge of crypto products a plus.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about building and driving initiatives from start to finish.
