About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a key member of our internal audit team. As an Audit Professional, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits covering designated entities in Singapore and the Asia-Oceania region. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying areas of risk and implementing controls to mitigate them.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and independent audits of business units and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies;
- Assist the Lead Auditor in preparing and compiling results of audits, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement;
- Support senior managers, executive directors, and managing directors with planning and administrative matters related to audit projects;
- Act as liaison and support internal auditors of regional offices, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least four years of experience in either the banking industry or external audit companies; must possess knowledge and understanding of audit processes;
- Additionally, professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Advanced Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) are highly preferred;
- Willingness to travel within the Asia-Pacific region approximately once every three months.
