Job Title: Senior Indian Cuisine Chef Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Indian Cuisine Chef Manager to lead our culinary team at AL-THOHIRAH RESTAURANT PTE. LTD.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing kitchen operations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You should be well-versed in both North and South Indian cuisine and have the ability to create and revise recipes, seek out new ingredients, delegate kitchen tasks, and stay up-to-date on current food trends and techniques.

In addition, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, ensuring that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly sanitized and maintained.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity, while maintaining high-quality food and customer service standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure their success.
  • Maintain accurate records of kitchen activities, including inventory levels, waste disposal, and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing kitchen operations, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of staff.
  • Well-versed in both North and South Indian cuisine, with the ability to create and revise recipes and stay up-to-date on current food trends and techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of SGD $40,000 - SGD $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
