About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team at TikTok PTE. LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning solutions to mitigate business risks in our products and platforms.

Our team is dedicated to protecting ByteDance users, securing platform health, and building robust infrastructures and technologies. We work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to minimize the damage of inauthentic behaviors on our platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop machine learning models to detect and prevent abusive accounts, fake engagements, spammy redirection, scraping, and fraud.
  • Improve modeling infrastructures, labels, features, and algorithms to enhance robustness, automation, and generalization.
  • Uplevel risk machine learning excellence in privacy, compliance, interpretability, risk perception, and analysis.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Solid engineering skills, with proficiency in at least two of Linux, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Storm.
  • Strong machine learning background, with proficiency in modern machine learning theories and applications.
  • Ability to think critically, objectively, and rationally, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
